Mojo & Me
10,000 kms ride
“My motorcycling journey of the last 11 years has been an extraordinary adventure, filled with unforgettable experiences and lifelong friendships.” Savio
Pulsar to Dominar
In time to come, I upgraded to the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200. Back in the day, while coping with a personal problem one night I got an open stretch and for those 10 odd seconds I was happier than ever! That is when my motorcycling journey actually took off and with countless memories almost 99K kilometers till date it all seems just like yesterday.
Buying Pune’s first Bajaj Dominar 400 and riding with a pack of 75 other Dominars is a ride to remember. Taking it to the next level was riding from Pune to Rajasthan’s Rann of Kutch and back. Here we got an opportunity to ride on both, the brown Rann as well as the White Rann. Biting into a different surface was a surreal experience indeed. It was my last long distance ride in the recent past.
Bonding with #Daanav6
With its likeness to the Mi2 motorcycle, the first iteration took India by storm. The roundtrip to Goa from my base in Pune sealed the deal for me. Adding, to this a 10,000 kilometer odyssey with a scaled down Mahindra Mojo cemented the thought of owning a reliable touring machine that stopped only when it needed fuel. Finally in July 2020 I booked the BS6 version.
My Mahindra Mojo, affectionately named #Daanav6, though the youngest at just 25,000 kms, is raring to go cross country. It has become an extension of myself, a reliable partner that has never let me down. The Mojo’s comfortable ergonomics, powerful engine, and rugged build make it the perfect companion for long-distance touring and off-road excursions.
