Flashbacks
We remember important and interesting moments of times past. Our flashback series of Chefs Day campaigns are happy memories. You are invited to enjoy them with us.
Come on this journey with us as we open our vault of treasured memories. For most part, our earlier campaigns of Chefs Day and Chefs Ride are good ones.
We have so much to look back on, the amazing people who stepped up to help and organise the events and everything that goes along with these crazy adventures. It is the people who give us the energy and enthusiasm to keep us going.
Flashback Sundays
When planning our social media schedule for Chefs Ride 2025, there was only one place to put our flashbacks, the weekend, either Saturday or Sunday. So Sunday it must be, the social boss commanded, but not any odd time. Flashback Sundays must be shared between 16:30 and 18:30 hrs only. We rock to a 24-hour clock, tick tock.
Our social media boss feels Sunday evenings feel better for such memories. In our discussions, we imagined you enjoying a post-lunch lounge in your fav place, most comfy clothes, all relaxed and resting from the troubles of the week past. Hope this applies to you, especially if you are in hospitality. Hey, we feel you and we too can fantasize.
“We still have to go through our vault. There are many hundreds of moments and pictures going back to 2015 when we started promoting Chefs Day.”
This is our rational for #flashbacksunday. There are those who use #throwbackthursday, further shortened to #TBT. For us, Sunday is our day to reminisce.
What We Share
A mix of everything really, a bit of that, this, there and thereabout. In no fixed order too. Right now, we have posted the only one selected , the one with Chef Asmic Raj and Rishab Bhargava of the Hilton Garden Inn Trivandrum.
We still have to go through our vault. There are many hundreds of moments and pictures going back to 2015 when we started promoting Chefs Day.
A warning to those whose feature in #flashbacksunday series. You will look younger than you are today. Do be sufficiently shocked as to how cool, young and thin you were. For the gents, track your hairline and waistline. Age is a number, these two are not.
Emotions
The main reason we will share these flashbacks is to recollect and express the emotions we experienced at the time, which with time, have gotten stronger and clearer.
We have this luxury because we have so many photographs and videos. Selecting just a few from so many will surely be hard, so no shade on those who do not feature. We love you dearly and really appreciate your help.
If in these flashbacks, you feel our emotive writing is wandering too much into DDLJ territory, do come along for the train ride but please remind Raj to wait on the platform for just a little more time.
A bawarchi who rides, a rider who cooks. For me, a motorcycle is a tool to explore new lands, cultures and cuisines.
